If you've determined the thermal fuse has not blown and the control is receiving power, then the touchpad is likely defective and will need to be replaced.

Range vent hood lights not working

If just one or two of the touchpad buttons aren't working properly then it's likely the touchpad itself is defective and should be replaced.

To determine if the touchpad is defective, try pressing some of the keypad buttons. If some of the keypad buttons work, while other buttons do not work, the touchpad might be at fault.

Range vent hood turning on by itself

When the touchpad buttons are pressed a circuit is closed sending a signal to the control board. If the button is worn it can cause the circuit to close intermittently, turning on the hood.
