Step By Step Instructions

To replace a door hinge bushing on your dryer first remove all of the screws securing the outer door panel.

Leave the middle screw securing the hinge.
3
Pull off the outer door panel and carefully remove the inner door glass.
4
Next, remove the screws securing the hinge cover.

Unthread the middle screw securing the hinge and pull off the hinge cover.

Detach the inner door panel from the hinge.

You can now remove the bushing you’re replacing, if still intact.

Install the new hinge bushing by sliding it onto the door hinge.

Reposition the inner door panel on the hinge realign the hinge cover and replace the middle hinge screw.

Now replace the remaining screws to secure the cover

Realign the inner door glass making sure the notches in the glass align with the notches in the door.

Reposition the outer door panel and snap it into place.

Replace the screws to secure.

Remember to reinstall the door strike.

Once the procedure is complete, confirm that the door opens and closes properly.
