Step-By-Step Instructions1

3
Unthread the screws to release the air filter cover.
4
Remove the filter and the filter gasket.
5
Lift off the throttle control cover as well as the locking cap.
6
Use needle-nose pliers to rotate the throttle plate clockwise to release the tension and detach the throttle cable.
7
Note the orientation of the primer and intake hoses then disconnect them from the carburetor.
8
Next, use a t-27 torx bit to unthread the carburetor mounting bolts.
9
Slide off the gasket and remove the old carburetor.
10
Before you install the new carburetor the mounting bolts should be inserted through the air filter housing.
11
Now slide the new carburetor onto the bolts followed by the gasket.
12
Thread the bolts into the insulator and tighten.
13
Connect the intake and primer hoses to the appropriate ports on the carburetor.
14
Insert the throttle cable through the hole in the bracket then align the cable in the swivel on the plate.
15
If the cable tension needs to be adjusted, loosen the locking nut then rotate the tensioner to increase or decrease the tension.
16
The throttle plate should be in contact with the adjustment screw.
17
With the tension set, tighten the locking nut.
18
Secure the cable with the locking cap and replace the throttle control cover.
19
Reposition the air filter gasket in the housing and realign the air filter in the gasket.

Replace the cover and thread the screws to secure.

With the repair completed reattach the wire and boot to the spark plug.

Keep in mind you may need to reset the idle by tightening or loosening the adjustment screw before your leaf blower will be ready for use.
