unplug the power cord to the appliance

use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the two mounting screws securing the base grille

you may need to depress the tabs near the top of the grille to fully release it

unthread the screws to release the control board cover

disconnect the wire harness

peel back the tape and slide the old speaker out of the cover
12
pull off the proximity sensor cover and remove the sensor
13
use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry open the retaining tabs to remove the sensor socket

snap the new sensor socket into the control board cover
15
insert the proximity sensor pins into the socket holes and snap on the cover
16
slide the new speaker into the cover and replace the tape to secure the wires
17
connect the wire harness, reposition the cover and thread the screws
18
reinstall the base grille by aligning it on the brackets
19
thread the two mounting screws to secure
