Step By Step Instructions

To replace an auto close lever cam roller on this samsung refrigerator…

… you will need a phillips-head screwdriver, a 1/8th inch punch, a 9/32nd inch socket, and a mallet.

Before you begin the procedure, unplug the appliance’s power cord.

Open the appropriate refrigerator door…

… and use the phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screw securing the lever with the cam roller you’re replacing.

With the screw unthreaded, lift the lever up to remove.

Now rest the portion of the lever with the cam roller attached over a 9/32nd inch socket…

… and use the 1/8th inch punch and the mallet to knock out the retaining pin.

You can now set the old roller aside.

To install the new cam roller…

… align it on the auto close lever…

… then insert the retaining pin and knock it into place with the mallet.

Realign the auto close lever on the top of the door…

… then thread the screw to secure.

Plug the power cord back in…

… and the refrigerator should be ready for use.
