Step By Step Instructions

To replace the freezer drawer gear in this lg refrigerator…

You will need a flathead screwdriver
3
Fully extend out the top freezer tray by lifting the front. then pull out the ice container.
4
Next, pull and lift out the freezer tray.

Lift the bottom freezer drawer out from the back.
6
Use the screwdriver to depress the tab on the drawer gear and pull up to detatch it from the slide rails.

Pull the gear off the freezer bar

To install the new freezer drawer gear…

Slide the gear onto the bar

Snap the gear into its insert within the slide rail. this can be difficult to align.

Place the drawer back inside the freezer.

Slide the tray back into the guide rails.

Then insert the ice container.

…. and the lg refrigerator should be ready for use.
