Step By Step Instructions

To replace the transformer on your furnace first turn off the power to the furnace.

Next, rotate the knobs securing the blower chamber panel and pull the panel off.

Note the orientation of the transformer wires and disconnect them from the transformer.
4
Now remove the screws securing the transformer to the mounting plate and pull the old transformer off.

Install the new transformer by aligning it on the mounting plate and securing it with the screws.
6
Be sure to secure the control board grounding wire as well.
7
Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals.
8
Reposition the blower chamber panel and rotate the knobs to secure.
9
You’re now ready to restore power to the furnace and confirm that it’s functioning properly.
