Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the steam hose in your washer be sure to unplug the power cord.

Use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the rear screws securing the top panel.

Slide the top panel back and lift up to detach.

For better access to the steam hose, we recommend removing the vent housing by pulling off the vent hose then use a t-20 torx bit to unthread the screws securing the vent housing.

Lift the housing up to detach.

Now release the clamp securing the steam hose to the vent pipe assembly and pull the hose off.

Release the clamp securing the hose to the water inlet valve and pull the old hose free.

Prepare the new steam hose for installation by transferring the clamps from the ends of the old hose to the new one.

Attach the straight end of the hose to the port on the water inlet valve and secure it with the clamp.

Attach the curved end to the vent pipe assembly.

Secure it with the clamp.

Replace the vent housing and secure it with the screws.

Slide on the vent hose.

Realign the top panel and slide it into position.

Replace the screws in the rear.

With the repair completed plug the power cord back in and your washer should be ready for use.
