Using a t-20 torx bit or a quarter-inch socket or nut driver, unthread the screws securing the rear access panel.
8
Loosen the center top screw, but don’t remove it.
9
Now slide the panel to the right to remove and set it aside.
10
Next, unthread the rear screws securing the top panel.
11
Slide the top panel back and lift up to remove.
12
Use an 11/16th inch socket or wrench and strike it with a mallet to loosen the rotor mounting bolt.
14
…and pull off the rotor.
15
Pull open the side cover of the control board housing…
16
…and disconnect the stator wire connecter.
17
Detach the wire retainers from the support brackets…
19
…and unhook the wires from the two retaining clips.
20
Now use a t-40 torx bit to unthread the screws securing the stator to the tub bearing housing.
21
With the screws unthreaded, you can remove the old stator.
22
You’re now ready to install the new stator.
23
With the wires positioned near the top, align the stator on the tub bearing housing…
24
…then thread and tighten the screws.
25
Secure the stator wiring behind the retaining clips…
26
…and snap the wire retainers into place on the tub and support brackets.
27
Connect the wire connecter to the control board and close the cover.
28
Carefully align the rotor.
29
Thread and tighten the mounting bolt.
30
