Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to remove the mounting screws securing the washer's front lower access panel and pull the panel down and away.

Now, unsnap the wire access cover on the drain pump and disconnect the wires.

Pull the front mounting grommet free from the pump and release the pump from the rear mounting grommets.

Use pliers to loosen the clamps to release the inlet and outlet hoses and remove the old drain pump from the cabinet.

You're now ready to install the new drain pump.

Please note that if the new pump differs from the one you're replacing, the installation procedure may vary.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for guidance.

If the new pump is the same as the old one, attach the inlet and outlet hoses and secure the clamps.

Insert the new pump into the rear mounting grommets, then pull the pump forward to secure it with the front mounting grommet.

Open the wire cover, connect the wires, and snap the cover shut.

Reposition the front lower access panel and secure the screws.

You're now ready to plug the appliance back in to make sure it's functioning properly.
