Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to use a flathead screwdriver to help remove the spring clamp from the door boot seal.

Dislodge one side of the boot seal to access the door latch.

Then, remove the mounting screws securing the latch.

Unhook the old latch from the bracket on the wire harness channel and pull it free of the front panel.

You're now ready to install the new door latch assembly.

Transfer the wires from the old component to the new one.

Hook the new latch onto the wire harness channel bracket and position it in the front panel.

Secure the mounting screws.

Reposition the boot seal on the lip of the front panel and secure it with the spring clamp, making sure the spring is at the bottom.

You're now ready to plug the appliance back in to make sure it's functioning properly.
