Step By Step Instructions

To replace your washer's door strike, first remove the screws securing the old strike (if still intact) and remove the strike by sliding it out from the top.

Install the new door strike by inserting the bottom tab into the slot in the door, then rotate the strike up and snap it into place.

Replace the mounting screws.

With the new strike installed, make sure the door closes properly.

If the strike appears to be misaligned, loosen the screws and adjust its position, then tighten the screws and try closing the door again.
