Microwave Oven Door Handle Replacement

Tools needed: T-20 Torx bit, small flat-head screwdriver

Shock Hazard

Be sure to unplug the power cord or shut off the power supply.

Open the door and use a small flat-head screwdriver to help detach the handle screw covers.

Now use a T-20 Torx bit to partially unthread the mounting screws enough to release the old handle.

Before you install the new door handle, make sure the two insulators are in place, then align the handle and fully thread the mounting screws.

Snap the screw covers into place.

Plug the power cord back in or restore the power supply and the microwave oven should be ready for use.
